Financial Modelling

Financial modelling can also help a business to receive funding whether in the form of a government grant application, a bank loan or pitching for venture capital.

My definition of a Financial model is a business projection where the performance of an industry and market is calibrated with growth aspirations and innovative ideas of an established or prospective business. Current and future market opportunities and threats needs to be taken into account. The business needs to have clarity about current and future costings and income of various product ranges. The model needs to be interactive to facilitate what-if scenarios to help management with better decisions for arriving at the highest possible Return on Investment.

Financial modelling can also help a business to receive funding whether in the form of a government grant application, a bank loan or pitching for venture capital.

In addition to funding assistance my financial models also helped numerous businesses to identify gaps in processes, supplied them with cost benefit analyses and guide operational teams through rollout of projects.
